Emmi-Pet Teeth Cleaning!

The Emmi-Pet is a German made ultrasonic toothbrush and is completely silent, this toothbrush doesn't vibrate and is non invasive. You simply apply the special toothpaste then hold it on the dog's teeth. The ultrasound waves, toothpaste and added water work together as a team and break down tartar and plaque and kill the bacteria in your dogs mouth.

We are using the new and improved 2nd generation Emmi-Pet toothbrush which has had improvements made on the toothbrushes ultrasonic frequency! The 2nd generation of the Emmi-pet ultrasonic toothbrush has a much better effect on the teeth! This produces an even better cleaning result than with the previous 1st generation toothbrush!

Questions & Answers!

Why is dental care important?

Dogs use their mouths for more than just eating, they use them to play, explore and taste a lot of their surroundings. So if your dog’s teeth aren’t properly cared for, it can start to cause problems. If your dog’s teeth are not regularly cleaned, the plaque will build up and turn into tartar. This has a solid, brown, gritty look and feel and can lead to inflammation and tenderness which is very uncomfortable for your dog to deal the build up of tartar if left can also go on to cause gingivitis and gum disease.

If we find that your dog doesn't like the Emmi-Pet we will not force your dog into it and will let you know however sometimes it may take a couple of sessions for your dog to get used to the process, if the process is too much for your dog and you have pre paid for  10 sessions in bulk we will of course give you a refund excluding the sessions your dog has already completed.

This all depends on how bad your dogs teeth are to start with if your dogs teeth have small amounts of tartar build up you can expect to see the results within 10 sessions however if your dog has more build up then you may have to book in for additional sessions, prices of these sessions can be found below.

Absolutely! Vets studies show that a whopping 80% of dogs are showing signs of dental disease by the time the dog reaches 3 years of age! So it's definitely something every owner should think of doing to try help prevent your dogs getting tartar build up leading to gum inflammation and gingivitis which can also lead to tooth loss.
